Nusa Dua is the home of five star hotels, a place for relaxing on white sand beaches and all within a stone’s throw from your hotel pool and the comforts of air-conditioning and quality service. This area is emerging again with new shopping developments and close proximity to villa developments in the South Bukit region.

With many villas coming online for sale, within a few years, the whole region may well be know as an entity of its own! The only problem that may feel unsettling is some locations seem quite isolated. Jimbaran Bay is located as a part of the Bukit Peninsula and this region is referred to as Bali’s “Golden Mile” and is famous for brands such as Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton and Intercontinental.

The West Bukit, made famous in the 70’s and 80’s for its world class surfing waves at Uluwatu and Padang-Padang beaches, is now a developers paradise. Currently a number of developments are under construction or for sale pre-construction.
Bukit Peninsula

Heading south in the opposite direction is the Bukit Peninsula, a region agents present as Bali’s “Hot Spot”. The region can be divided into two main regions: West Bukit and South Bukit. The South Bukit is home to a host of international brands including Bvlgari, Alila, Nikko, Outrigger and Angsana.
Tanah Lot

Canggu to Tanah Lot region is still an affordable option to buy land. Although much of the beachfront land has already been snatched up, there is some amazing rice terrace and river ravine land that is still incredibly cheap located only 1-2 km in-land.
Petitenget & Oberoi

Petitenget and Oberoi are home to some of Bali’s finest establishments and are possibly the location of most interest amongst tourists wishing to stay where the sophisticated action is. Many successful villa developments are found here, along with restaurants and fashionable bars and clubs. If you can afford to spend up, you can’t go wrong!

Berawa

Berawa is one of the most exciting regions to recently emerge in the near vicinity of Seminyak. Its popularity grew once the Canggu Club/International School was built and the subsequent connecting road was created between Berawa and Batu Belig which significantly shortened the driving time to reach this quiet beachside Balinese community. Land is still available, but the options are becoming increasingly less apparent.

Like many parts of Bali, Canggu became famous for its consistent surf breaks many years ago, and although the sand-covered reefs are still extremely popular among surfers, this region has become a hub for those wishing to live outside of busy Seminyak in tranquil surroundings but still enjoy the benefits of only being 20 min from all the fine restaurants and amenities of Oberoi and Seminyak.
